He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Bell Ergle. He is survived by: his son Rick Ergle (Sandy) of Keystone Heights; his grandchildren, Brittany (Trip Roberts), Phillip (Brittany Ergle), Joshua Ergle of Gainesville, FL and Tabitha (Jose Alvarado); his great grandchild Levi Jacob Roberts of Lubbock, TX.; and his siblings, Norman Ergle of Alachua, FL, Marie Crosby of Alachua, FL and Diane Hadsock (Paul) of Fairbanks, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Louis Nelson Ergle to the Mission Scholarship Fund at CrossPoint Church, Melrose.
