She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Cleopas Wheeler and Lillian Oneita Whitten Wheeler; her half-brother James "Jim" Harley Wheeler; and her siblings, Charley Lee "Jack" Wheeler, Thomas "Tom" Dowe Wheeler, Darrell Edwin "Ed" Wheeler (Georgia Rose), William "Bill" Earl Wheeler, Dorothy Lou "Dot" O'Brien (Kenneth) and Carroll Alys Emerson (Gerald).

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Shirley Wheeler; and her friend Eleanor Parker May. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
