He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Pittman and Delilah Pittman; his wife Pauline Pittman; and his grandsons, Darrell Pittman, Jr., Jared Pittman and Gregory Pittman.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Pittman (Patricia) of Tampa, Florida, Darrell Pittman (Louise) of Aurora, Illinois, Thomas Pittman (Kathleen) of Fairview, Tennessee, Joel Pittman (Beverly) of Neoga, Illinois and Linda Martin of Gilbert, Arizona; and his stepchildren, Sandra Delgado, Gail Centaur and Glenda Moore. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
