He is survived by: his wife Jillian Hartman O'Steen; his daughters, Gina O'Steen (Brian Knauer), Jada O'Steen and Jana O'Steen; his grandchildren, Kyle, Conner Knauer, Cori, Ward Brueggeman and Taylor Ferraro; his niece Kimberly Feazell; and his siblings, Bernice O'Steen, Carlton O'Steen, Howard O'Steen and Millie O'Steen Dantschisch.
