He was predeceased by: his parents, Okla Homa and Verble Golden Adams; his son Robert Dale Adams; and his brothers, Bob, Bill and Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Crawford Adams of Alachua; his children, Deborah Smith (Carlton), Carol Jean, Judith, Bennie Ray Adams (Melinda) of Bartow, FL, Raymond Bradley Adams (Diana) of Lakeland and Randall Lee Adams (Stacy) of Bessemer, AL; and his sister Betty Cole of Griffin, GA. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
