She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Hurst; and her pets, Muffin and Queenie. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Leah) and Robert Hurst (Susan); her granddaughters, Cailin Veronica, Julia Rose, Destiny Marie Hurst and Ellen Angela Silver; her brother Joseph Rigney; and her sisters-in-law, Karen Rigney and Barbara Hurst. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and members of her extended family.
