He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McGowan and Sara McGowan (Storm); his wife Lillian McGowan (Campbell); and his sister Mary Logue (John) of Virginia. He is survived by: his children, Andrea, Laura and Michael; his grandson Thomas A. McGowan (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Samantha, Alexander, Tommy and MacKenzie McGowan; and his siblings, Shirley M. Snyder (John), Paul (Margaret), Philip (Jean), Edwin (Irene), Patrick (Micheleann) and Raymond (Camille). He is also survived by thirty nieces and nephews.
