He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Olkowski and Hattie Nagowska; his wife Margaret Olkowski; his children, Joanne Mude and Mark Olkowski; and his grandson Nicky Mude.

He is survived by: his sons, Ted Olkowski Jr. (Laverna) of Hockessin and Michael Olkowski of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Kathleen, Michael, Angel, Daniel, Katelyn and Erin. He is also survived by 8 great- grandchildren.
