She was predeceased by: her parents, McAlvin Sprouse and Margaret Sprouse (Gould); and her daughter Laura Piccolomini Congdon. She is survived by: her husband James D. "Jim" Lee; her son John Piccolomini; her stepdaughter Michele Logan (Kenneth); and her close friend Suzanne Jaquett. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
