We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2023, at the age of 88, Shirley D. Oakley of Wilmington, Delaware, born in Chester, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oakley and Annie Oakley; her siblings, Robert Oakley, Ephraim Oakley, Lillian Oakley, Doris Oakley and Betty Oakley; her children, James Oakley, Beverly Oakley and Lorraine Coates; and her nephews, Stanley Oakley and Johnny Oakley.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Oakley, Michele Oakley, Cheryl Johnson, Gloria Stone and Brenda Johnson; and her brother John Oakley. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, one cousin, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
