He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Vasile and Josephine Vasile (Pascucci); his wife Celia Vasile; and his sister Peggy Rini. He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Vasile (Lori) of Wilmington, DE and Robert Vasile of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his grandchildren, Gabriella Vasile (Taylor) and Anthony Vasile Jr.; and his sister Rita Valle of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Salvatore's name to Archmere Academy, Office of Advancement, 3600 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.
