He is survived by: his mother Lillie Thompson; his children, Zuri Johnson, Ronise Mack and Donate Sykes; and his siblings, Theresa Charles, Charlene Tunnell, Donald Hairston, Kerry Hairston and Gerry Hairston. He is also survived by grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
