He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Benjamin Bell-Hannah, Shyron Wade, Professor Norris, Tabitha Hannah-Bell, Kendra Hannah and LaChelle Hannah-Robinson; his great-nephews, Calvin, Tazhan, Nasai, Jace, Thadius Jr. and Liam; his great-niece Lyla Michele; his caregiver Derek Herring; and his siblings, Wilbur Mathis Jr., Aziz Carter, James Carter (Yolanda), Bryan Carter, Laurie Carter-Robinson (Gary), Jason Carter, Romona Jiles, Kathy Jiles, Alice Monts, Louise Seward, Scott Monts, Olivia Webster and Patrica Jackson.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Bethel AME Church (604 N Walnut St, Wilmington, DE 19801). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
