Phyllis Cropper Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Cropper (Wilmington, Delaware), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemon O. Whittington and Clara Nicholson Whittington; her husband Arthur D Cropper; and her sisters, Dolores, Sarah, Joan (Arthur) and Shawn White.

She is survived by: her son Loisisha Redding (Rudell White); and her nieces and nephews, JoAnn Gibbs, Gloria Groman, Marvetta Cannon, Pamela Scott, Cassandra Hynson and Michelle Johnson. She is also survived by grandchildren; 4 great and 16 great-great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Congo Legacy Center (501 W 28th St, Wilmington, DE 19802). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
