In the sacred silence of farewell, Paul is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Paul's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Garwood and Alice Garwood (Kirn); and his brother John Garwood. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Garwood (Burris); his children, Brett A. Garwood and Leigh A. Garwood; and his grandson Andrew Schalles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's United Methodist Church (1700 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the Gracelawn Memorial Park (2220 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul Garwood may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church or an animal shelter of your choice.
