He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Degnars and Mary Jane Degnars; his son Nicholas Joseph; his brother Richard II; and his sister-in-law Donna.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Deana (Jessica) of Michael, II and Pizza; and his grandchildren, Angelina of Steven, II, Giuliana, Teresa, Marianna and Giovanina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Anthony of Padua church- ninth & DuPont Streets, Wilmington, DE 19805.
