We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2025, Maureen Rizzo of Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Seelig and Mary Tigani Seelig; her husband Lawrence "BoBo" Rizzo; and her brother Thomas Seelig, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lori Rizzo, Nancy Rizzo-McCaughan (Kevin), Larry Rizzo (Merly Bermudez), Steven Rizzo (Kim) and Jamie Rizzo (Jeannie); her grandchildren, Chris McCaughan (Jill), Erin Jamgochian (Mark), Ava McCaughan and Sebastian Rizzo; and her sisters, Jacqueline Carey and Louise Simpson. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (4701 Weldin Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
