Marilyn J. Doto Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn J. Doto (Wilmington, Delaware), who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chevy and Lyn; her siblings, William J. Doto, Jr., Richard J. Doto and Mary Jean Doto; her niece Jennifer Duncan; and her nephew Michael Doto.
She is survived by: her friend Lyn; her husband William S. Montgomery; her sisters, Michele J. Fanny Montgomery (Mike) and Lori Doto; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Robinson (Rich), Susan Caldeira (Louie), Elaine Hoffman (Skip) and Thomas Montgomery; her nieces and nephews, Nicholas Toman (Laura), Russ Duncan, Barry Scott, Molly Waddell (Jonathan), Kelly and Jessica Caldeira; her great-niece Abbey Rhoads; and her great-nephews, Evan Toman, Gage, Greyson Waddell, Logan Harrington and Kai Scott.
By November 2020, although at high risk to contract COVID, she broke her self-imposed isolation for an afternoon to decorate her car and drive, horn-honking, through the streets of Wilmington's riverfront to join in the celebration for the election of her hometown hero, Joe Biden.
