It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margretta Wallace of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Francis; her grandson Caleb Shaw; and her parents, Harry Smack and Greta Bain (McClelland). She is survived by: her children, Joey, Peggy Maiorano (Carmen), Diane Shaw (Michael) and Clare Shaw (James); her grandchildren, Lisa Doak (Ken), Laura Krueck, Corinne Carrido (RJ), David Shaw (Molly) and Maggie Petka (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Jenna Doak, Oskar Krueck, Chase, Josh, Joey Consalo, Maya Carrido, Ryan, Avery Shaw, Cooper, Audrey Petka and Summer Shaw.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Church (901 E Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804). A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808).
