She was predeceased by: her mother Julia; her former husband Joseph W. Aitken; her brother Albert; and her father Albert Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Michael (Mary), Susan Mascioli (Chris), Mark (Stacy), Mary Currie (Randy), Kathy Abbott (Bill), Patty Signora (Paul), Paul (Maria) and Margaret Haggerty (Chris); her sister Katherine Helms; her daughter-in-law Trish Aitken; and her pet Freddie. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Magdalen Church (9 Sharpley Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
