As Marc departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marc may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marc leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Anthony "Bucky" Ruggiero; and his brother-in-law Steve Williamson. He is survived by: his mother Bertha Ruggiero; his wife Jane Ruggiero; his sons, Jeffrey Ruggiero (Amy Shoemaker) and Michael Ruggiero (Sarah McKeown Ruggiero); and his siblings, Lori Brey (Scott Brey), Amy Williamson and Joseph Bartholomew "JB" Ruggiero. He is also survived by his wife's family; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, and to honor a man who always thought of others before himself, the family requests any donations made in his memory be made towards the team at Abramson Cancer Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania that helped give us more time with Marc.
