She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Russell and Mary Vivian Dixon (Reynolds); her daughter Debby Burton McCullom; her former husband Omar Gentry Burton; her siblings, Velma, Bob, Leroy, Alan, Gene, Roger Dixon and Irene Anne Duffy; and her sister-in-law Nicole Gage Dixon.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Turner; her children, Genny Rodgers of Sanford, David Burton, Mark Burton and Julie Dumire (Douglas) of Wilmington, Delaware; and her grandchildren, Rachael Eller (Kevin), Linda Cartee (Michael), Rebecca Chalmers, James Drake, Jetty Karmes, Brian Hartsky (Kristel), Jesse O'Donnell, Daniel Rodgers, Grace Dumire and Rose Dumire. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
