He is survived by: his children, Janice Atkinson (Lorenzo), Eddie Hicks, Jerry Hicks (Sandi) and Darrell Hicks (Darlene). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
