With profound sadness, we say goodbye to JudithAnn Merrill of Wilmington, Delaware, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. JudithAnn left this world on April 11, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Blakely and Mildred Blakely (Welch); her husband George H. Merrill Jr.; her grandson Corey Merrill; and her brothers, Robert, Franklin and Rev. Leonard Blakely.
She is survived by: her children, George H. Merrill III (Cara), Jeff Merrill (Dawn), Paul Merrill (Marie), Danny Merrill (Diane) and Deanna Merrill; her grandchildren, Bryan, Matthew, Michael, Brandon, Madison, Danny Jr., Katherine Merrill, Amanda Fasick, Rachael, Colin Miller, Kristin Weber, Courtney MacDowell and Evan Lightfoot; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Reese Kent, Rhys Merrill, Sophia, Liam MacDowell, Olivia, Cameron and Emma Jane Weber; her siblings, Donald Blakely, Lorraine Zickefoose, Geraldine Davis (Bob) and Bernadine Burkhard; and her sisters-in-law, Rosemarie and Natalie Blakely.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Church (2013 Gilpin Ave, Wilmington, DE 19806). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery (10 Old Church Rd, Greenville, DE 19807).
