She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothea Mae (Palmer) and Louis J. Hinkle; and her siblings, Louis Hinkle, Louise Rizzo and Phyllis Episcopo.
She is survived by: her husband George L. Esterling, Jr.; her children, Deborah Ann Malvestuto (Anthony DiMascio), George L. Esterling, III (Mary Ellen) of Hockessin and Thomas C. Esterling (Denise Parks); her grandchildren, George L., IV, Tyler, Alexandra, Vincenzo, Anthony, Adrienne and Thomas Jr.; her great grandchild Oliver Paul; her brother Thomas; and her sister-in-law Jeffie Hinkle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mealey Funeral Home - Limestone (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Judy's name to the Benedictine Sisters, 25 Gender Rd, Newark, DE 19713.
