He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Grillo and Hilda Grillo (Pontani); and his siblings, Pasquale Grillo, Jr. and Celeste Grillo. He is survived by: his wife Sally (Unkart); his son Brian C. Dawson; his daughter-in-law Amber Dawson; and his grandchildren, Brian, Lexi and Lily.
