With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L Holliday Sr. (Wilmington, Delaware), born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 75. He is survived by: his parents, William Holliday and Florence Holliday; his wife Mattie Holliday; his children, John Holliday Jr. (Rayna), Tina Williams (Don), Loretta Bryson Demetrius (Larry II) and Tracy Matthews (Ronald Gibler); his siblings, Willeen Holden Earline James (Preceded), William Holliday and James Holliday Patricia (Joann); and his grandchildren, Kayla, TyQuan, Khaiyla, Branden, Brea, Brianna, Jamere, Jayda, Gabriella, Tre'Sean, Jamysiah, Jayvon and Larry Bryson III.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gore Funeral Home (1910 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington, DE 19805). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
