He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Ralph Jefferson Pennington; his grandson John William Pennington; his wife Jill Forster Pennington; his brother Ralph Pennington; his children, John Marshall Pennington, John William Pennington of Wilmington, Jewel-Lynn Pennington and Christopher Pennington of California; his mother Margaret Pennington of Avondale, PA; his sisters, Susan McCue of Avondale, PA and Faye P. Smith of Spring City, PA; and also Elizabeth. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
