Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ryan Sr. and Alida Ryan; her husband Jerry Deisem; and her son Matthew Deisem. She is survived by: her sons, Marc Deisem (Laurie) of Smyrna and Jeff Deisem of San Diego, CA; her granddaughter Katie Deisem of Smyrna; and her siblings, Robert Ryan Jr. (Betty), Joyce Nabb (Michael) and Ed Ryan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
