He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth A. Shinn, (Bailey) and Charles B. Shinn, Sr.; and his brother Charles B. Shinn, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Shinn (Mahoney); his daughters, Sara Shinn (Jeremy) of Wilmington and Abigail Shinn of Grass Valley, CA; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Mia, Teagan Harkins and Amara Nuber.
