He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haney and Alice Haney (Burns); his brother Eugene "Gene" Haney; and his former wife Marie Soltys. He is survived by: his son Shannon "Ace" Haney; his siblings, John "Jay" Haney (Mary Fran) and Mary Alice Martelli (Luke); and his sister-in-law Pat Riley (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
