He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Charlotte Houben and Margaret Shelton (Hyland); and his uncle John Giles. He is survived by: his wife Claire Shelton (Richardson); his children, Torrey Kathryn Shelton, Jake William Shelton and Patrick John Shelton; his parents, John Shelton and Nancy Shelton (Houben); his brother Scott Shelton (Angeline); his grandfather John J. Houben; his aunts and uncles, John L. Houben, Linda Houben, Laura Giles (Houben), Rosemary Bryson (Rick Bryson), Donna Wright (Shelton) and Tim Shelton (Cindy Fischer); and also, Ellie, Mark and Noreen Richardson. He is also survived by her four siblings and spouses, as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
