With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine C. Vitone of Wilmington, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert S. Vitone. She is survived by: her children, Michael Vitone (Cari) of Lincoln University, PA and Cheryl Gniewoz (Zach) of Wilmington; and her grandchildren, Michael, Jake, Peyton, Cole, Jayson and Logan.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church (4701 Weldin Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Gracelawn Memorial Park (2220 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends Home in Kennett, 147 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
