With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Florence M. Facciolo of Wilmington, Delaware, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Florence left this world on January 9, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel DeRocili and Maria DeRocili (George); her great grandchild Madison Facciolo; and her brothers, Anthony, Phillip, Roland, Rudolph, Valentino and Reynold DeRocili.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Linda Beddia (John), JoAnn Ferguson (late Rob), Sharon Burg (Steve), Joseph Facciolo (Geralyn), James Facciolo (Kay) and David Facciolo (Lynn); her siblings, John DeRocili, Angela DiTaddeo and Dorothy Riley (Gene); and her sister-in-law Frances Facciolo. She is also survived by her 23 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Corpus Christi Church (905 New Rd, Elsmere, DE 19805). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Cathedral Cemetery (2400 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington, DE 19805).
