She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Spencer, and George Spencer, Sr.; her husband Jimmie Gordon; her son Jimmie Gordon; her goddaughter Bernadette Hinson; and her siblings, Ollie Steward, George Spencer, Jr., Gussie Spencer, Thomas Spencer, Frances Spencer, Morris Spencer, Wilbert Spencer, Charles Spencer, Catherine Spencer-Thomas, Mary Spencer-Webb and Leroy Spencer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mikko Gordon, Raylyne M. Gordon White-Thompson and Devoria Gordon; her grandchildren, DeVon Dickerson, Sonja, Jimmie Gordon-Jones, Michael Gordon, Zira White, Calah Gordon and Shonda Wilkins; her great grandchildren, Zavaidah White, Khanaan Gordon, Artrese Gordon, Raeghn White, Zen Carter Dabney, Annika Gordon, Devin, Kevin and Keith Harmon; her sisters, Willola "Sis" Gordon, Alberta "Bert" Gordon and Irene "Rene" Gordon; her close friends, Theresa Johnson, Mary Dorsey and Sandra Lambert; and her godchildren, Lisa Drennan-Cunningham, David Eddy, Lamont Stewart and Emma Williams.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mother Uame Church (701 E 5th St, Wilmington, DE 19801). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
