We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 82, Elizabeth Dendy (Wilmington, Delaware) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Stephen Foster; her husband James W. Dendy, Sr.; and her parent Cecil Foster. She is survived by: her children, Deatrice L. Dendy (Patty), James W. Dendy and Michael G. Dendy; her grandchildren, Zion Dendy, Joshua Dendy, Jared Dendy, Stephen Wilkinson, Tarvis J. Hamlet and Kirstian Dendy; her great grandchild Macen Dendy; her siblings, Eva Colson (Ray), Jesse Clark (Sandy) and Jessie Lee Foster (Betty); her sister-in-law Helen Foster; her siblings, Stephen Foster, Jr., Henry Lee Foster, Abraham Foster, Lois Harris (Oliver), Mary Cecil Foster and Gennette Foster-Moore; and also Nathaniel Henry.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Simpson United Methodist Church (907 Centerville Rd, Wilmington, DE 19804). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
