Though Elena Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elena Patricia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret O'Neill (Keavney) and Patrick O'Neill. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary (O'Brien), Tommy Joe, Beatrice (McKeague), Lawrence (Sonny), Margaret (Peggy McDermott), Patrick (Pake) and Martin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jeanne Jugan Residence (185 Salem Church Rd, Newark, DE 19713).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence.
