He was predeceased by: his sisters, Molly Kelly and Anne Coyle; and his goddaughter Leslie Ann Baker. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McGarry; his son Donald McGarry Jr.; his brothers, Martin McGarry and James McGarry; his brother-in-law Michael Kelly; and his sister Louise Armstrong. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
