She was predeceased by: her parents, Maymie Folks (Fletcher) and Ernest Folks; and her husband Russell D. Protas. She is survived by: her sons, Sean Protas (Jean Kearney) of Morton, PA and Mark Protas (Shannon) of Newark; her grandchildren, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Lacey and Tilly; her brother Charles Folks; and her niece Stacey Ritter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mealey Funeral Home - Limestone (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mealey Funeral Home (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808).
