She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Brown and Elizabeth Brown (Webb); her husband Gilford M. Thurman; and her sisters, Ruth Gentry and Betty Roberson.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Thurman Vaughan, Steven Thurman (Jane) and David Thurman (Lisa); her granddaughters, Krista Thurman, Amanda Nersasian Sheets (Greg) and Kelli Thurman; and her great grandchild Gavin Nersasian.
