She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Mae and Louis H Fortt Sr.; her son Dennis Thomas Jr.; her grandson Lorne Thomas-Davis; and her siblings, Louis H Fortt Jr., Louise Fortt, David Fortt and Christine Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Sheryl), Sherell (Orlando), Kelene (Michael), Cornelia (Lawrence) and Rhonda (Brian); her grandchild Kyra; and her sister Mary E. Fortt. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
