It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Kate Everhart of Wilmington, Delaware, born in Narrows, Virginia, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyrus Brown and Lyda Brown (Hale); and her husband Frank Everhart (Dick). She is survived by: her children, Patrice Madden (Joe Bennett), Becky Mattei (Art), Jim Everhart (Lori), Billie Kathryn Edwards and Frank Everhart (Geraldine); her grandchildren, Meghan Czerwinski, Ryan Mattei (Kristen), Michael Mattei (Farah), Tripp Madden (Michele), Tyler Madden, James Everhart (Molly), Elizabeth Everhart, Gary Brittingham, Allison Brittingham (Marvin), Vince and Ilha Honoridez; and her sisters, Hilda Beamer and Rebecca Moore. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and members of her extended family.
