He was predeceased by: his father John Clay Ladd, Jr.; and his brother Evert Ladd. He is survived by: his wife Robin Ladd; his grandchildren, Rubina "Ruby", Ezio, Alan Maurico and Milena; his mother Mabel Lorraine Ladd; his siblings, John Clay Ladd, III, Laura White (Bill) and Ron Ladd (Amy Gallagher); his pet Louie; and also, Breanna Ladd, George "Andy" Cannon, Alan Ladd, Jr., Eli Arellano Espejo and Brooke Ladd.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Humane Animal Partners, 455 Stanton Christiana Rd Route 7, Newark, DE 19713.
