He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Robinson and Joseph Raymond Pierson Sr.; and his sister Nancy Hitchens. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Andrews; his children, Tina Morris (Donald) of Smyrna, DE, Joseph Pierson III (Lulu) of Anaheim, CA and Timothy Pierson of Newark, DE; his siblings, Charles Pierson (Vetta), Sharon Daniels of Newark, DE and Tracy Orledge of Ventnor Beach, NJ; his grandchildren, Paige Gagnon (Thomas) of Hartly, DE, Kelsey Morris of Smyrna, DE, Edward Sutton of Anaheim, CA and Cody Sutton of Anaheim, CA; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Jackson and Everly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Middletown VFW Post 3792 (5695 Summit Bridge Rd, Townsend, DE 19734).
