It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Hargan Sr. of Townsend, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacqueline M. Hargan (Jeandell) and Howard E. "Biggie" Hargan; his sons, John J. Hargan, Jr. and Michael W. Prang; his brother William N. Hargan; his daughter Kira A. Wood (James); his grandchildren, Keirsten M. Hargan, Nick Blankenship, John J. Hargan III, Kaidence A. Wood, Jaelyn M. Wood and Kinzley G. Wood; his great grandchild Leila Hargan; his siblings, Howard E. Hargan (Patty), Anthony M. Hargan, Kenneth R. Hargan, Steven R. Hargan and Donna M. Zink (Dennis); his fiancée Sandra K. O'Dell; and his stepdaughters, Angela D. Zito and Jessica L. Rivera. He was also cherished by 8 step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Interment will be held privately.
