He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Stanley Sr. Wright and Beulah Wright; his wife Harriett; his siblings, Stanley, Joyce and Lewis; and his son-in-law Gerald Simpkins.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Wright (Edna), Christian Wright and Lise Lavender (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Shannon Wright and Kristi Lavender; his great grandchildren, Katie Wright, Landon Lavender and Luke Lavender; and also Carol (Julie) of Dwayne Lavender, III.
