She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Nickerson and Margaret Nickerson; and her brothers, Herbert III and Baby Edward. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Alvarez III; her children, Julianne Maichle (Evans Leighty) of Clayton and Mark (Suzi Wojtkiewicz) of Dover; her stepsons, Danny (Holly Alvarez) of Miami and Chad (Jessie Alvarez) of Grasonville; and her grandchildren, Madylin, Jonathan Maichle, Elizabeth Wojtkiewicz, Lily Alvarez, Grace, Abby and Selby Scaggs.
