She was predeceased by: her parents, Hassel Dyke and Alice Van Dyke (Taylor); her daughter Heather Sweetman; her sisters, Carol Sweetman and Barbara Malatesta; and her brothers-in-law, John Sweetman, Gregory Malatesta and Robert Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband John W. Sweetman; her sons, Walter Sweetman III (Stephanie) and Brian Sweetman (Tammy); and her sisters, Joyce Taylor, Laureen Stigile and Hope Moore (William). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
