Ray Weldin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Weldin of Talleyville, Delaware, who passed away on September 7, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray Weldin to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid Ray farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ray is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Atwood and Elsie H. Weldin; and his sister Jenny Lee Megill. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his daughter Kristina of Martinsville, VA; and his nephew Terry Hall (Stephanie).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Ray's name to Newark Union Church and Cemetery (at the above address) for continuing restoration projects of this historic landmark that meant so much to Ray.
