It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Jefferson Townsend (Smyrna, Delaware), born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Townsend and Helen Townsend; and his stepmother Ilse Schwering Townsend. He is survived by: his siblings, David, John and Ruth Casassa. He is also survived by spouses and many nephews and nieces.
